We work with all major shipping companies, including but not limited to FedEx, UPS, USPS, DHL, and other reputable carriers, to ensure timely delivery of your orders.

While we strive to fulfill orders promptly and provide accurate tracking information, please be aware that shipping times may vary depending on factors such as carrier delays, weather conditions, and destination location.

We cannot guarantee specific delivery dates or times, as these are determined by the shipping carrier and may be subject to change.

In the event of a shipping delay or issue, we will do our utmost to assist you and provide updates on the status of your shipment. However, we are not liable for any delays or damages incurred during transit.

Customers are responsible for providing accurate shipping information at the time of purchase. We are not responsible for any delays or delivery issues resulting from incorrect or incomplete shipping addresses provided by the customer.

Shipping fees are calculated based on the weight, dimensions, and destination of the package, as well as the selected shipping method chosen at checkout.

Shipping Rate:
Shipping within the U.S.:
We are pleased to offer free shipping on all orders over $199 within the contiguous United States (lower 48 states). For orders under $199, standard shipping rates will apply. Please note that shipping terms are subject to change, and we encourage you to contact us for any clarifications.
Shipping to Canada:
For our Canadian customers, shipping charges are based on the size and weight of your order. The rates are as follows:

Standard Shipping under 10 lbs (0–10 lbs): $15.00 CAD

International Shipping:
At present, we do not provide international shipping services.
Shipping Status:
You'll get an email with your tracking details as soon as your purchase ships. If you have any questions, comments or concerns please contact us with the information below.
ORDER CONFIRMATION:
Upon placing an order, you will promptly receive a confirmation email. This signifies that our team has acknowledged your order, and your credit card has been pre-authorized. Subsequently, we will confirm stock availability with the supplier. In the event of an item being out of stock, back-ordered, or unavailable, we will void the pre-authorization and promptly notify you via email. If the item is ready for shipment within 5 business days, we will proceed with processing the charges.
RETURNS ON ORDERS:
For detailed information on returns, please refer to our dedicated return policy.
Upon delivery, we kindly ask you to inspect your package, document any damages with photographs, and submit this information to Cottage Spas within 24 hours.
You will bear the responsibility for return shipping costs and the shipping expenses of a new product in the case of a refund or exchange.
All returns must be in unused and unopened condition.
Please be aware that once an order has left the warehouse, a full refund may not be eligible, and a restocking fee could apply.
Vendor Shipping Policy:
Steamist, Thermasol, Amerec, EmotionWalls, Harvia, HUUM, Kohler, KOLO, MR.STEAM, SaunaLife, Saunum:
In the case of sauna and steam items, which may have unique shipping considerations within the United States, we prioritize the safeguarding of your orders to prevent any potential damage during transit. To address this, we have implemented advanced packaging solutions aimed at minimizing the risk of damage.
Should a product show signs of damage upon its arrival, customers have the option to either refuse receipt or, if the damage is concealed, sign for the delivery with a notation such as "Subject to concealed damage." This approach allows us to promptly address and rectify any issues related to the condition of the received items.
Dundalk Leisure Craft:
Dundalk LeisureCraft Responsibilities:
-Crafting and securely packaging your sauna within a crate.
-Coordinating the shipping process to deliver the sauna to your residence.
Trucking Company Responsibilities:
-Scheduling an appointment for the delivery of your sauna.
-Delivering your sauna to the end of your driveway or curbside.
a. The trucking company is NOT responsible for unloading the sauna.
b. The trucking company will not back their truck into your driveway.
c. Deliveries are often made with an 18-wheel truck.
i. Please verify if this size truck can navigate your road or neighborhood.
If the sauna crate is less than 92” (7 feet), the trucking company may provide a lift gate on the back of the truck to aid in unloading.
For sauna crates exceeding 92”, there will not be a lift gate, and you need to decide how to unload the crate from the truck.
Your Responsibilities:
-Provide timely responses to phone calls from the trucking company to arrange delivery.
-Determine the method for unloading the sauna from the truck.
a. Crates will vary in length from 6 feet to 14 feet.
b. Crate weight will range from 800 pounds to 1600 pounds, depending on the sauna size.
Unload the sauna crate from the truck using one of the suggested methods:
i. Utilizing a forklift or other mechanical equipment (ensure proper lifting from the end of the crate and require fork lift extensions).
ii. Renting a tilt tow truck from the local terminal for delivery to your home.
iii. Assembling a crew to either remove the sauna from the truck or unload the crate while on the truck until it can be lifted off.
Unloading Crates:
As per our shipping terms, you are responsible for removing the crate from the delivery truck. If the crate is 92” or shorter, it will fit on a liftgate, allowing you and the truck driver to lower the crate to the ground. For crates longer than 92”, where a liftgate is unavailable, you must choose from the following options:
-Arrange for a crew of people to manually unload the crate.
-Arrange for suitable equipment to assist in unloading.
-Use a trailer to pick up the crate from the delivery terminal.
-Rent a tilt tow truck to pick up the crate at the delivery terminal.
If you require assistance in arranging a tilt tow truck, a service fee of $500 will apply.
Change of Ship-to Address:
If you need to change the ship-to address, please do so before your order leaves the factory to avoid any additional charges.
Golden Designs inc.:
You can anticipate a call from the freight carrier 24 to 48 hours before your scheduled delivery to arrange a suitable day and time. Typically, deliveries are scheduled within a 4-hour window. To ensure a smooth delivery process, please communicate any potential challenges at your location, such as remote areas, long driveways, large or low-hanging trees, apartment complexes, or stairs, with us before shipping.
For your convenience:
Saunas designed for 1-2 persons will be delivered in a single box, while larger units may arrive in multiple boxes.
All boxes will be securely strapped vertically to a pallet.
Our saunas are transported in a 53ft semi-truck.
The delivery will be handled by a single driver, who will unload the pallet ONLY to your curbside or the end of your driveway.
Upon pallet unloading, we kindly request that you promptly inspect the box(es) for any potential damage. Please make note of minor scratches, indentations, or scuff marks on the delivery receipt. There's no need to open the boxes for a sauna inspection. In the unlikely event of a substantial hole, possibly caused by freight carrier forklifts, we recommend refusing the delivery. Your vigilance helps ensure the integrity of your sauna's condition upon arrival.

Commercial Business Address:
For commercial business addresses, our carriers are equipped for business deliveries, assuming you have a loading dock or forklift to handle the shipment. Please note that our shipping companies do not provide unloading services; it is the responsibility of the recipient.
Residential/Lift-Gate Delivery:
This option entails delivery to your home address with a lift-gate service. The shipment will be delivered to your driveway, and the carriers will not bring it into your home or relocate it to a specific spot. While this is a convenient option, it requires a scheduled delivery date and time. We do our best to expedite delivery, but please be aware that unforeseen factors beyond our control may affect shipping times. If, for any reason, you are unable to accept delivery after the order has shipped or been installed, all re-delivery, installation, re-consignment, and/or storage fees will be the consumer's responsibility. It's crucial to ensure you can accept delivery, as these fees can be substantial. Orders typically ship 6-10 weeks from the purchase date, provided the product is in stock. Orders are not processed or shipped on weekends or holidays. Please consider any shipping or installation time as an estimate only.
Damage and Inspection:
Great care is taken in loading and packaging your order before shipping or delivery. While freight damage is rare, it can occasionally occur. It is not liable for unseen damages. Upon receiving the Goods, you have a reasonable opportunity to inspect them for any non-conformities. Any observed non-conformity must be documented in writing on the contract or delivery installation receipt and signed by both parties. It is your responsibility to ensure no damage has occurred before signing for your delivery. You have 24 hours from receipt of the Goods to notify in writing of any issues. Failure to do so releases from any claims. If excessive damage has occurred, Goods should be refused at the time of delivery or shipping attempt. We will provide any necessary parts for documented freight damage. To facilitate the return of defective/damaged parts, charges may apply. Once you sign for delivery or shipment, the Goods become your property, and any repairs or replacements requested beyond the specified timeframe without written notification will be your responsibility.
Maya Bath:
Orders containing large or heavy items are shipped via a trucking carrier, and we are pleased to offer free shipping on all orders. Freight delivery typically takes 2 to 6 business days, with additional time required for remote locations. The Freight Carrier or Trucking company will reach out to you to schedule a delivery appointment. Once your product departs our warehouse, you will receive an email containing a link to the freight carrier’s website along with the tracking number. Please note that tracking numbers take 1 business day to update.
Package Inspection:
We strongly encourage you to inspect your package promptly upon delivery. In the event of obvious damage, please make note of the damages on the delivery receipt. Contact us within 24 hours to report any damage, either by email or phone. It is important to retain all original boxes and packaging in such cases. Your cooperation ensures that we can address and resolve any issues effectively.
Scandia Manufacturing
Shipment Inspection and Reporting:
Upon arrival, shipments must undergo thorough inspection. Any damage or shortages should be immediately reported to Cottage Spas via phone and in writing. Damages and/or shortages must be documented on the bill of lading and/or packages. In the case of concealed loss or damage discovered after receipt, a "Concealed Damage Report" must be submitted within 5 days.
Inaccurate Shipments and Returns:
Any inaccuracies in the shipment of products must be reported to Cottage Spas within 5 days of receipt. Returns are subject to a 20% restocking fee, with no exceptions. Most items can be returned for a refund (excluding shipping and handling) within 14 days of receipt, provided they are returned at the customer's expense, in new condition, in the original box with the manufacturer's packaging and information. No returns for refunds or exchanges will be accepted after 14 days of receipt.
Non-Returnable Items:
The following items are not eligible for return:

Any equipment that has been previously installed.

Buckets and ladles.

Back and headrests.
-
Aromatherapy oils.

Towels.
-
Room kits (both modular and pre-cut).

Steam cabinets.
-
Doors.
-
All customized items.
Most products come with a manufacturer's warranty as mentioned on their packaging or in their documentation. No warranty beyond the manufacturer's warranty is provided.
Refusals:
For items delivered by UPS, USPS, FedEx, or RPS, if refusal occurs for any reason other than damaged merchandise or a shipping error by Cottage Spas, a 15% restocking fee plus applicable shipping charges will be imposed. For items delivered by commercial freight companies, a refusal will result in a 25% restocking fee plus applicable shipping charges.
Cancellations:
Orders for pre-cut sauna kits, modular sauna rooms, steam rooms, commercial and residential steam room equipment, gas sauna heaters, doors, and all custom-made items can only be canceled within 24 hours of the order and cannot be returned.
Liability extends only to the amount of the invoice unless otherwise stated. Cottage Spas is not responsible for delayed shipment due to the shipping company. Shipping charges are non-refundable.
